LAUNCHED IN 1965 IN PELAGO, ITALY, A SMALL TOWN NEAR FLORENCE, THE COMPANY WAS FOUNDED BY GIUSEPPE ROSADI, WHO NAMED THE BRAND AFTER HIS DAUGHTER LUANA.  DESIGNED IN THE HEART OF THE TUSCAN LEATHER INDUSTRY DISTRICT, THE BRAND RESONATED WITH TASTEMAKERS FROM THE VERY BEGINNING.

DURING THE 1970’S, THE COMPANY GREW TO BE RENOWNED WORLDWIDE AND THE LUANA NAME BECAME RECOGNIZED FOR ITS HANDBAG DESIGN AND PRODUCTION. THE COMPANY CONTINUED TO GROW THROUGH THE 1980’S AND 1990’S WHEN IT WAS TAKEN OVER BY LUANA ROSADI AND HER HUSBAND ANDREA BOCCALINI WITH SUPPORT FROM THEIR TWO SONS, DIMITRI AND GIUDITTA.

TODAY, THE LUANA BRAND IS CENTERED AROUND THE AUTHENTICITY OF IMPECCABLE ITALIAN TASTE AND TRADITION PAIRED WITH THE GLOBAL SENSIBILITY OF TODAY’S MARKET.
